Who owns Erin Hills?
Andy Ziegler, Chairman of Artisan Partners Asset Management, of Milwaukee purchased Erin Hills in October 2009.
What is the current rate for golf and are any group specials available?
Green fees and caddies rates can be found on our Rates and Reservations page. Our special events manager is happy to accommodate your group activity. Please see the Group and Meetings page for more details.
What options do I have for getting around the golf course?
Erin Hills is walking only. We highly recommend using one of our professional caddies or you may decide to carry your own clubs. Outside caddies and pull-carts are not allowed.
May I ride in a golf cart?
As a general rule, Erin Hills is a walking-only facility. All requests for limited use of a designated golf cart must be made at least two weeks prior to play and comply with the ADA Guest Golf Cart Policy. There are two carts on property available for ADA use and are reserved on a first-come, first served basis (based on when the proper paperwork is submitted).
Are rental clubs available?
Yes. We are proud to offer the latest equipment from TaylorMade – the M3 and M4 lines of clubs for the 2018 season. They are available for $80 per round.
May our group play a fivesome?
No. Groups of five are not permitted.
Do you have twilight times available?
Erin Hills’ management believes that our guests should experience the entire golf course and therefore does not offer twilight tee times.
Does Erin Hills have locker rooms and showers available?
Erin Hills offers locker rooms for men and women with complimentary showers and amenities.
How long does it take to play a typical round?
Please plan on a four hour and fifty-five minute round of golf.
Do you offer memberships?
No. Erin Hills is a public course with no memberships.
Where can I find directions to the golf course and what are some travel times from various points of interest?
Our address is 7169 County Road O, Erin, WI, 53027. Please see Directions for specifics. Erin Hills is located 35 minutes northwest of downtown Milwaukee and 50 minutes from the Milwaukee airport. The golf course is 2 hours from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, one hour east of Madison, and 80 minutes southwest of Kohler.
What airports are nearby?
Hartford Airport (HXF), located 15 minutes from Erin Hills, has a 3,000’ runway. Waukesha Airport (KUES), located 25 minutes from Erin Hills, has a 5848’ runway. General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is located 50 minutes from Erin Hills and is serviced by most major airlines. What transportation services are available from the airports?

Can I ship my clubs to and from Erin Hills?
With airlines increasing baggage fees and the inconvenience of carrying clubs to and from the airport, you may ship directly to Erin Hills, and we can ship your clubs home for you as well. Will you store my clubs overnight?
Yes, securing your clubs overnight is a complimentary service.
Are there any other golf courses in the Erin Hills area that you would recommend I play?
Washington County Golf Course, an Arthur Hills championship design, is located in Hartford, 15 minutes from Erin Hills.
Does Erin Hills serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
Our dining room is open one hour prior to the first tee time, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Can we bring our own food and beverages onto the course?
Carry-on food and beverages are prohibited.
Do I need a reservation to come out for a meal?
A tee time or reservation is required for all meals. Dining room reservations are available for July 1 or later dates only. Reservations can be made by calling 866-772-4769.
Does Erin Hills offer overnight lodging?
Yes! The Lodge offers 11 rooms and suites: 7 single rooms, 1 double room, 2 two-bedroom/two-bathroom suites, and 1 three-bedroom suite with four beds and three bathrooms. There are also 5 cottages, each with four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
If the Lodge and cottages do not have any space available, where else could we stay in the area?
Hotels may be found in Hartford, Delafield, and Oconomowoc, which are all located within 20 minutes of the golf course.
What kind of private party and meeting space do you have available?
The Clubhouse features two Board Rooms that include a flat-screen monitor/television and internet connection. The rooms can also accommodate private parties. In addition, there is one private dining room in the Lodge. Each can accommodate up to 18 for dinner. For more information on Group/Corporate Events, please contact our Event Coordinator.
Does Erin Hills host weddings?
What is the Erin Hills dress code?
Our dress code policy states “Players shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming. Clothing worn by guests should be consistent with currently accepted golf fashion.” The management of Erin Hills reserves the right to interpret this regulation. Acceptable golf shirts at Erin Hills must have a collar, either a traditional fold-down, a raised crew neck, or mock turtleneck collar that clearly differentiates it from a tee shirt. No denim of any kind is allowed. Shorts must be Bermuda length. No gym shorts are allowed. No halter-tops are allowed. Metal spikes are not allowed. Cargo shorts, cargo pants or tennis shoes are not preferred. Baseball cap style hats must be worn in the traditional fashion with the bill facing forward.
What are your booking and cancellation policies?
If poor weather forces a player off the course, Erin Hills will issue a pro-rated rain check.
